Are my files secure?
Yes your files are very secure. We store all of our files on Amazon's Simple Storage Solution or S3 for short. Amazon has put numerous safegaurds to make sure only paying customers can access your data. We take full advantage of the safegaurds.
How much does this service cost?
There are two pricing options. Professional accounts pay just $6/month and basic accounts pay 20% of the account earnings.
Why might people not be able to purchase my file?
There may be other reasons than the one's listed. However, most of the time it is because you have not confirmed your email address with Amazon.com or your account is not in good standing with Amazon.
Are there any limits to the number of files I can upload?
With a professional account you can upload unlimited amounts of files. With a basic account you can upload up to 2GB of files.
Why would I allow my customers to name their own price?
Short answer:
Because it worked for radiohead.
Long answer:
By allowing your customers/fans to download your art for free if they choose you are giving
them the freedom to enjoy your art and perhaps make subsequent purchases. Everytime someone enjoys
your art is is an advertisement for you. If your art is really good your customers and fans will pay you to
create more.
